Missing now found
Keith found the squirel... dead in my snow boot. My nice, designer snow boots. Not my "I still am a kid when it snows and like to play snow boots from Payless." grrrr and still gross. The sunroom still smells.

Uninvited Guest
Sunday Keith was cleaning his car out a bit with prep to put it in the shop for inspection. He had the door to the sun room open and who decides to come in for a visit... a baby squirrel! Keith watched it walk right in like it owned the place. He tried to shoo it out with the broom, but no luck. We could not find it! I began to think it left through a hole in the wall because I could not hear it scuffle around. (I'm not only Keith's fiance but also his hearing ear monkey... you know, like a seeing eye dog. I can't see for him but I sometimes hear for him. Weird, I know.) Anyway we thought it was gone. WRONG!!! Tuesday we came home and I opened the sun room door from outside and there was the squirrel, in the middle of the floor. I started screaming "It's still here. It's still here." And I slammed the door. Just the thing to do if you want it out, right,... shut the door. <dumby> I saw it run to our folding chairs against the wall and told Keith. He went in and managed to convince the baby squirrel to relocate to my shoe area with sweeps from the broom. Geez, thanks Keith. (We don't wear our shoes in the house, they stay in the sun room.) Keith gave up with the broom and went to get the squirrel trap. He smothered the lever with peanut butter and set it on the floor. Squirrels love peanut butter, right? Not this one! It's now 3 days after the trap has been set, and 5 days since the squirrel has been trapped within the room and it still has not been caught. All the while my shoes are being held hostage by this infant rodent! Grrrrrrr.

Wild Animals in the yard
We are no strangers to the wildlife here. However with that said they are still pretty cool.

This is the Blue Heron that visits us from time to time. This was a weird day as it stayed at the lake alllllll day. Its wingspan is massive. It reminds me of a terradactyl.

I was wondering where all the deer were as we had not seen them in a while. Then remembering about the turkey, I surmised that the bird ate all the deer. (I know this can not actually happen, I was being silly.) But in the same day we saw the turkey and then 5 deer. Keith did not believe me about the turkey until he saw it.
This is a branch directly by the home office window. I'm not sure if it is the same squirrel but there is a squirrel that curls up on this branch often. And even though we find them pesty and they ate all my tulips (within an hour of planting years ago) I thought it was cool.

April Updates
- Keith's beard is really long. He has to wear a beard net at work, you know a hair net for his beard. If I stick my finger in it, the hair goes past my first knuckle.
- Speaking of knuckles, Keith is trying to get me to stop cracking. Not gonna work.
- I've been going to the Chiropractor. From wearing high heels too much I've managed to misplace my 5th lumbar. The best part... the doctor says no house work or yard work. I cheat and still do things here and there.
- Tuxes for the wedding are selected. We took my dad today to be measured. I had a slight evil enjoyment out of it. The last time he wore anything formal was at his wedding, in 1980.
- Keith has been working in the city so he has been taking the train in. This week he found a car parked on his bumper and then the next day he had foot long scratch. He has one more payment until he owns it. I'm going to take it to inspection during spring break for him... I'm so nice!
- My car is almost a year old. I have 5700 miles. Not bad. I guess thats what happens when you live within 3 miles from work.
- Our wedding bands came in. Very pretty.
- The bridesmaid dresses and the flower girl dress came in.
- I'm sending our all the invitations next week. I'm making the programs too.
- SPRING BREAK!
- We meet Jenelle & Roger's puppy. She's a Weimeran (sp?). Her fur is grey velvet and she has blue eyes. I wanna puppy.
- I finished the bridesmaids' jewelry.
- We flew kites last weekend. The kids in the park kept trying to play with them when they fell to the ground.
- Keith's parents took Katie to the vet. She's 30 lbs. She should be 24. So everything that she gets extra treats, Keith and I continue to count up. Sunday she had pancakes... 31. Thursday she ate pizza crust... 32.
