Driveway Battles

Keith owns two lots, one where the house is, and a smaller one for our driveway. We usually park in the yard to be closer to the house, but use the lot for when it snows. There is only one other house on our "street" and it is a renter. You never know who will be your neighbor with this house. Sometimes they are quiet, sometimes they are Spanish, and sometimes they are white. But no matter what, they are annoying somehow. These neighbors we have had for about a year and a half now and for a while they kept using our lot. Repeatedly we asked for them not to park there. The man of the house obliged but his family, which we really don't know how many actually live there, are not so much ones for honoring requests. I had to go get and hang "Private Property" and "No Parking" signs before they got it that we did not want them parking in our lot.

Friday Keith came home and the man of neighbor's house came down our sidewalk. "My father-in-law died." Keith said he was sorry to hear that. The man then said, "Wooster's (the Clementon funeral home) is coming to get him out of the house now." ie the hearse is coming soon and you may block the driveway. Creepy & weird.
